Ouka was never meant to be just a dog. When Shams adopted him at two and a half years old, Ouka had already lived through more than most dogs ever should. Two abandonments, too many unanswered questions, and not much reason to trust humans again. At that very same moment, life wasn’t easy on the other side of the leash either. Shams was going through one of the darkest chapters of his life, struggling with depression, searching for direction, purpose… and something to hold on to.What started as a rescue quickly became something far deeper. From that day on, they never really walked alone again. Years later, Ouka is not only Shams’ best friend, he has become the heart of our little family. Together, we’ve crossed countries, climbed mountains, slept under countless skies, faced storms, welcomed new chapters, and built a life completely outside the ordinary.People often know Ouka as the flying dog, soaring above valleys with us under a paraglider. But the truth is, flying is only one small part of who he really is. He is our trail partner, our road companion, our daily source of joy, and the quiet soul behind so many of our adventures. More than a dog. More than a best friend. Family.
