A work trip turned into an unforgettable adventure across the heart of Australia
We travelled to Australia mainly for work, just the two of us (Shams & Lau), and ended up living one of the most intense and inspiring trips we’ve had together. For over ten days, we followed an ultra marathon through the Australian outback, crossing vast, remote landscapes that felt almost unreal: endless reds, silent roads, and a raw sense of scale that’s hard to describe. After this deep dive into the centre of the country, we spent time between Sydney and Adelaide, discovering a completely different rhythm, from vibrant city life to coastal escapes. One of the highlights was even getting back in the air with a tandem paragliding flight along the coast, flying above kangaroos in the wild. A surreal moment that perfectly summed up this trip: unexpected, powerful, and full of contrast.
