Cycling the Route des Alpes

We’re planning a van trip through Scotland, a journey we’ve been dreaming about for a long time. The idea is to explore the country slowly by road, moving between rugged coastlines, deep glens, and remote islands, fully immersed in the raw beauty of the north. Scotland has always felt like a place where nature is in charge, with constantly changing weather, dramatic light, and landscapes that shift from soft green valleys to wild, wind-beaten cliffs. Traveling there in our van means total freedom, stopping wherever the view feels right and adapting to the rhythm of the road. It will be a mix of exploration, hiking, and simple vanlife moments in one of the most atmospheric countries we know.
